Aquarius Sturgeon Full Moon 8.19.24

On August 19, 2024, the Moon will peak full at 27 degrees of Aquarius.

Aquarius, the Water Bearer, is the 11th Sign of the Zodiac and represents the element of Fixed Air.  Whenever the Moon is in Aquarius, our minds naturally speed up with thoughts, often as a clearing process.

There is a lot going on in the stars right now, in the collective energy, that is causing our brains to receive a natural re-wiring boost right now. It's a time to reflect and ponder on the life lessons you’ve learned and how you’ve grown from them. With each new, more empowering thought you have, it is writing over the old, disempowering thoughts you used to have. This intentional self-reflection time is helping you become unstuck and able to freely move forward.

During this Aquarius Full Moon, you may be noticing that your brain is going to old memories of your childhood or early adult years way more than normal now. This is totally normal.  It is part of the Mercury Retrograde process we’re in right now.  That mental reviewing is your brain’s way of clearing out any old baggage that no longer serves you.

As these thoughts come up, simply thank them for coming up to clear, and let them go. That is all the effort needed by you during this beautiful Air Moon and its highly transformative energy. Believe in yourself.

Straighten your crown, you got this!

This Aquarius Sturgeon Full Moon is asking you to dream big and see yourself living your best life.  Every powerful positive thought you have right now is wiring your brain for happiness and success.

Write down your most positive, empowering thoughts in your journal as this is the best way to maximize your efforts.  Pure magic happens when you slow down your thoughts to the speed of your pen and capture them onto paper.  Insights, ideas and deeply healing thoughts will flow to you as you write.

More about Sturgeon

The Sturgeon is a fascinating fish.  A Royal Fish actually.  During the 14th Century, King Edward II named the Sturgeon as being royal.  Today, they are still protected in our waterways around the world.  Sturgeon are an extremely old group of fish, dating back 250 million years. They lived with the dinosaurs, but somehow managed to avoid extinction.

When they are young, Sturgeon can easily become prey, and often do. But as they grow, they stretch to four to six feet long, weigh 30-80 pounds, and outgrow most of the dangers of life. They typically live 50-100 years, making them a steadfast elder of the waters.  Wisdom sets in as time passes.  Adult Sturgeon have very few predators and live a happy life of solitude, doing as they wish. We don’t eat Sturgeon, mainly because they are protected, however, their eggs are a coveted caviar delicacy.
