The intentions you set for yourself and your overall sense of well-being at the Virgo New Moon last week are beginning to strengthen and come to fruition. With the waxing Moon's energy building this week, you are sure to make further progress.
As these changes in your life begin to occur, you may feel unsettled and unsure about moving forward. But these are simply old fears coming up from your subconscious which try to hold you back one more time. Don’t allow them to have that much power over you anymore. Keep moving forward in the direction you are striving to take yourself next.
Anytime we make changes in our daily habits and routines, the subconscious brain floods the brain with a stream of fearful thoughts, trying to keep you in your old comfort zone. That is your brain trying to help you by avoiding what it thinks is pain. But you have a new vision now and the past is no longer holding you back.
As Virgo season progresses, and the changes you intended are starting to become real in your life, this internal pressure can naturally cause you to feel anxious and doubtful. It is up to you to manage the flow of this internal pressure from the thoughts and fears. If left unchecked, this internal pressure can build up and begin controlling how you think and feel and cause you to stray away from your goals. Don’t allow it that power.
You are in control. Take control of the pressure. With patience and practice, and some simple self care techniques such as journaling, meditation, yoga, daily exercise, deep breathing, mindfulness, walking in nature can transform a once anxious mind into a serene paradise,
Or use your creativity to draw, paint, color, sketch, sing or dance your way through the pressure and provide yourself some relief. Art therapy of all kinds can be very helpful in reducing and managing the internal pressures that you put upon yourself, and helping you keep your cool and feel balanced, relaxed and happier.
Mindful breathing is the most powerful tool when it comes to internal pressure management.
Whale teaches a valuable self care tool with his ability to rise to the surface, take a deep breath and blow out all of the pressure at once. We humans can provide a similar sort of sense of relief when we feel the internal pressures and stressors from daily life building up by simply stopping to breathe.
Whenever you feel yourself stressing out inside, stop what you’re doing and take a moment to deeply breathe it out. With each slow, deep, strong breath, you can feel the pressure release. There are many good breathing techniques to use, but sometimes simply stopping to take a really good deep breath or two is all you need to decompress and feel some relief.
Making mindful breathing exercises a part of daily self care can really help you feel more peaceful and relaxed, and stop the build up of stress before it burdens and overwhelms you further. Meditation focusing on your breath is excellent daily self care that accomplishes many good things for your mind, body and soul all at once.
